MyoMunchkins

Birth to 3 Years

Our specialists offer online evaluations for tongue, cheek, and lip ties in the mouth to see if there are restrictions that may cause issues with feeding, swallowing, and breathing. Our goal is to prevent future orofacial myofunctional disorders by helping babies form healthy oral motor patterns early on, while offering emotional, physical, and mental support to families during the process.

We offer parent coaching to support any questions regarding feeding, swallowing or oral motor skills for birth and up. We provide guidance for parents on who should be a part of their airway and feeding team (dentists, ENTs, lactation support, and others). This new service fills a much-needed gap in care, ensuring families feel supported every step of the way, reducing the need for more invasive treatments down the line.

We understand that both infants and mothers face emotional and physical challenges during the recovery process post-tongue tie release. We help with pre- and post releases to prepare for and help with oral motor challenges, including help with bodywork! Our service provides a progressive, multi-phase approach to support the infant-mother dyad from the moment of release through key developmental milestones, up to 12 months of age.
