Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist / Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist

**Only Candidates with Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Experience and Training will be Considered**

MarvelMyo & Speech serves both pediatric and adult populations starting from age 4 for orofacial myofunctional therapy. We also offer oral motor and feeding consultation/support for birth-3 years.
Position Overview
Compensation
Part-Time: $45-$50/hour
Full-Time: $50-$55/hour
(Based on Experience with OMT)
This is a part-time to full-time, fully remote position with needs for availability 10:00 AM-6:30 PM CST for scheduling, serving a diverse caseload across pediatric and adult populations.

You will work within a structured clinical framework while maintaining autonomy in your treatment approach, supported by a highly collaborative team.

Clinicians at MarvelMyo & Speech manage a mixed caseload, including:
  • Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders
  • Airway-Focused Therapy
  • Pediatric Feeding and Oral Motor Concerns

Schedule

  • 4 to 5 day workweek options available
  • Must be available for work between 10-6:30pm CST

Training & Onboarding

  • 30 days of paid onboarding and systems training
  • Paid introductory QOM (Qualified Orofacial Myology/Myofunctional Therapy) course (if needed, based on experience level)
  • Ongoing mentorship and clinical support within airway and OMT frameworks

Technology & Workflow

  • Fully virtual care delivery
  • Integrated AI-assisted SOAP note documentation to streamline workload
  • Established systems and workflows designed to support efficiency and reduce administrative burden

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Interest in or experience with orofacial myofunctional therapy and airway-focused care
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a virtual setting
  • Commitment to patient outcomes, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continued learning

  • Experienced SLP (5+ years)
  • Trained in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
  • Understands Tongue Tie/lip tie/cheek Tie Releases
  • Must have completed one of the following trainings: SimonSaysSpeech, IAOM coursework, QOM coursework, TalkTools training on OMT, Mary Billings' Function Focus Academy, or another introductory course for OMT at the very least.
  • Position is Specific to Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy will Serve Children, Teens and Adults Ages 4 and Up ONLINE
  • Specifically Looking for a Therapist that has a Background in Oral Motor, Feeding, Swallowing and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy

DUTIES

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve patients' speech, language and swallowing skills
  • Assist patients with swallowing difficulties through therapy techniques and exercises
  • Refer and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor and document patient progress throughout the treatment process
  • Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication and swallowing abilities
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in speech therapy (specifically orofacial myofunctional) techniques and technologies involved with these therapies

SKILLS

  • Customer service and service recovery skills are required to effectively meet the needs of patients, families and members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Flexibility and ability to manage work-flow in a changing environment
  • Open mind and willingness to learning new treatment modalities to provide the best patient care
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Analytical skills are required to evaluate patients and their response and treatment
  • Skills in orofacial myofunctional therapy are a must

REQUIREMENTS

  • Orofacial myofunctional therapy training and experience is a must
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech, language, and swallowing
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Experience in case management and patient assessment
  • Ability to work effectively with patients ages 5 and up with various backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
